Kathmandu to Pokhara

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your journey to Pokhara, located about 220 km west of Kathmandu. The drive will take you through the scenic Trishuli Valley and along the Marshyangdi River. Pokhara, known for its pleasant weather and breathtaking views, is a haven for tourists, featuring a mix of natural wonders and cultural attractions, including caves, lakes, and temples of both Hindu and Buddhist significance, all surrounded by majestic mountains. If you're short on time, you can opt for a quick flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. You’ll spend the night in Pokhara, with breakfast included.

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast to start your Kathmandu tour. You'd visit Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Explore the 2,500-year-old Swayambhunath, the world’s largest Boudhanath, the sacred Pashupatinath, and the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square. Enjoy some time in the local bazaar before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu with breakfast included.

Sunrise at Phewa Lake and a hike to the World Peace Pagoda

At Raj India Tours, you'll start your day early with a trip to Sarangkot for a breathtaking sunrise view of the Annapurna Mountains, including Fishtail. The drive takes about 30 minutes. Afterward, return to your hotel for breakfast. Next, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Phewa Lake, followed by a visit to the World Peace Pagoda. You can either drive and walk 15 minutes to reach the Pagoda or hike from the other side of the lake, which takes around 1.5 hours. After lunch, feel free to explore the Lakeside area at your own pace. Overnight at your hotel in Pokhara, with breakfast included.

Departure at Kathmandu

It’s time to say goodbye to Nepal. Spend your final moments in Kathmandu enjoying breakfast at a cozy café and taking one last leisurely stroll through the charming alleys and temples. A driver will be at your hotel to take you to the airport for your flight home. Wishing you safe travels and fond memories of your trip!

Pokhara to Chitwan National Park

The drive from Pokhara to Chitwan is about 90 km and takes 4-5 hours, featuring beautiful river views along the way. We’ll depart from Pokhara after breakfast, and lunch will be provided at your Chitwan hotel. If you're not too tired, you can discuss with your guide about enjoying some jungle activities in the late afternoon or evening. You’ll stay overnight at a hotel or resort in Chitwan, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Chitwan National Park

After breakfast, you'll set out on a canoe ride along the Rapti River, where you might catch glimpses of diverse bird species and rare crocodiles like the Marsh Mugger and Fish-eating Gharial. Next, take a jungle walk and visit the Elephant Bathing Center. In the afternoon, after a delicious lunch, you'll head out on a jeep safari to spot various wildlife, including four types of deer, rhinos, wild boar, monkeys, leopards, and sloth bears. As evening approaches, enjoy a beautiful sunset by the Rapti River and take in a lively cultural show. After dinner, you'll settle in for the night. You’ll stay overnight at a hotel or resort in Chitwan, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Chitwan to Kathmandu

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have the chance to visit the Government Elephant Breeding Center or participate in other exciting jungle activities. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the conservation efforts for elephants and experience the wildlife up close. If you're traveling by private vehicle, you’all have ample time to explore a bit more before heading back to Kathmandu. However, if you’re using local tourist transport, please be prepared to depart around 9:00 AM to ensure a smooth return journey to Kathmandu. You’ll spend the night back in Kathmandu, with breakfast included.
